The Blood

The Blood were formed in 1982 when „Megalomania“ was released. After the release of their Debut LP „False Gestures for a devious public“ in 1983 they went to the top of the indie charts in England. They were the first band that was able to reach metal cross-over parts other punk bands couldn’t reach. Their music dig bodies up. In 1996 they reformed officially and released a full length „Smell Yourself“ with 12 brand new songs which are really in your face. On Fabulous as usual are three tracks of the current album. Some Mags like Kerrang in England wrote: When Punk meets metal it can sound like Motoerhead, but when metal meets punks it can only sound like the Blood.
Short after reforming they played shows in Europe and in England. Holidays in the sun ’96, Punk Holidays in Edinburgh ’96 and two Tours trough Europe just a few to mention. In 1997 they released a new EP „The Blood – Boots“ which contents a cover version of „These Boots are made for...“ and to other great songs (Cat rapes dogs and Def till death) which are again full of hate. A Band that everyone loved to hate, and the Band really did hate everyone! Get this music in your stereo and the Blood will hate you.
